EXCEED is proud to be supporting the first female “SAS: Who Dares Wins” winner, Louise McCollough’s trek to Machu Picchu in aid of the Charlie House Big Build.
In September 2019, Louise and a team of 34 Charlie House fundraisers will take on the terrific challenge of trekking through Peru to reach Machu Picchu in order to raise £150,000 towards the £8million Big Build appeal. The appeal seeks to raise funds for a purpose-built facility in Aberdeen which will offer parents and carers the chance to recharge their batteries, safe in the knowledge that their child with complex disabilities will be in the care of specially trained medical staff.
Ian Mills, managing director, EXCEED said: “The Charlie House Big Build is a fantastic cause and we are delighted to be supporting Louise’s trip. With over 1,500 children and young people in the North-East of Scotland requiring specialist support this facility is much needed.”
“Louise proved that she is one tough cookie on the TV series “SAS: Who Dares Wins” and we have no doubt that she will be a driving force for the rest of the team during the trip.”
EXCEED is jointly funding Louise’s trip with Thorpe Molloy.
